12 Pop Songs You Didn’t Know Were About God

Pop songs usually talk about love, pain, and bitterness; a formula that’s more often than not will definitely sell.

Put out a song that can serenade a loved one and gave it to one of the most popular singers and surely it will hit big. Or create the most painful and bitter song and let a commercially appealing singer let out the emotions of the song and it will skyrocket to the top of the music charts.

But while pop song lyrics are often taken for granted because of its formula driven nature, there are pop songs which actually talk deeper than what we knew. There are songs that are known to be too cheesy and uber painful but taking deeper and closer appreciation of the lyrics will reveal that they are actually talking about God and spirituality.
