5 Songs that remind us of EDSA People Power Revolution

Today, the country is celebrating the 29th anniversary of the 1st EDSA People Power Revolution. The peaceful revolution which was admired and became inspiration of other people power revolt in different countries. The bloodless revolt which put us in international map and made us darling of the world.

But the EDSA People Power Revolution of 1986 was not all about toppling the Dictator Marcos and the installation of Asia’s first woman President, the late President Corazon C. Aquino. EDSA 1 is also memorable for the songs that became people’s anthem, songs that bring pride to our nationality and songs that became source of inspiration that change can be achieved if we will all unite.
