International EDM superstar Zedd once again brings an electronic and energetic vibe to Filipino crowd on his TRUE COLORS TOUR with his chart-topping tracks as he promotes his sophomore studio album True Colors on Saturday night, August 8, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

This is Zedd’s fourth time in the country. Zedd made his first appearance in the Philippines when he performed an opening act during Lady Gaga’s concert in 2012. After this, he showed up to a secret gig at Club Paraw in Boracay in 2013, and conquered Manila with his Moment of Clarity World Tour at the SMX Convention Center.

During the press conference happened before the show, Zedd received a Gold record award from the MCA Universal.

Zedd was joined by Martin Vogt aka Haywyre as an opening act. The electronic music’s newest boy wonder gave his best shot as he introduced himself by playing piano, and suddenly proceeded to an electronic beat with classical and jazz rhythm that turned into smooth and gentleness flow of electronic dance music.

The show started, and got more intense and awesome when the moment Zedd dropped the beat of his first masterpiece of the night, “Beautiful Now.” He also played some of his own crowd favorites such as “Clarity,” and “Stay the Night.”

Zedd played an incredible set from the first minute ’til the last, with complete confetti explosions, smoke machines, and marvelous energy throughout the MOA Arena. The lights which are synchronized to the beat, backdrop, and DJ booth were colorful, strong, and visually stunning that match to the concept and beat of the party. With 12,000 EDM fans, the arena was filled with loud voices of party-goers as they sing along to the electronic beat.

Aside from his charismatic appeal, Zedd’s electronic style made it compatible and inviting to a widespread fandom. Zedd continued to reach out and send the love back to his fans and those who in need. He offered up 500 tickets in exchange for acts of charity from his fans.

To give you a sneak peek of the True Colors Tour in Manila, here some sights of the biggest electronic dance music party of the year.
