Adele says no to 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show performance offer

Grammy-award winning singer Adele has declined an offer to perform at the halftime of 2017 Super Bowl.

Adele, who was rumored to be performing at the renowned sporting event ended all speculation in a statement addressed to the audience at Staples Center.

In her statement Adele said she doesn’t she herself doing the show because Superbowl is not a music event. While she confirmed that she was offered to have the halftime performance, Adele revealed she said no to the invitation.

“First of all, I’m not doing the Super Bowl. I mean, come on, that show is not about music. And I don’t really — I can’t dance or anything like that. They were very kind, they did ask me, but I said no.”
