A new “hugot” song titled “Miss na Miss Kita” is making rounds on social media getting more than hundreds of thousands views on different Facebook pages.
Diane de Mesa, A US based independent singer-songwriter is the voice behind this wonderful song. “Miss na Miss Kita” is Diane’s carrier single from her 17-track all original album titled “Only For You” which is currently being played on different local radio stations nationwide. Most of the songs from her album can be described as “hugot” songs.
According to Diane her past relationship experiences motivated her to write these type of “hugot” songs.
“I got the inspiration from my past experiences being always “heartbroken” about love before, but that was years ago before I met my “the one”. But now, I am writing happy songs also
especially for the ones who are in love! However, I still like writing “hugot songs ” maybe because it is so much easier to write sad songs.”, she said.
Diane also shared the story behind the song “Miss na Miss Kita”.
“I wrote this song years ago after going through a breakup, and seeing my ex again after a few months. That’s when the song came to life.
Diane, a big fan of Mariah Carey, Gloria Estefan, Regine Velasquez, Gary Valenciano, Kyla, and Nina, started singing at an early age of 5.
