Chadleen releases her debut album, Sana ikaw na nga under 12 stone Records

Nothing is impossible to those who dream. Chadleen Lacdo-o who was born with a cleft palate has proven this many times over. She used to have many regrets in life. One of those was “Why was I different?” She tried to make friends, tried to reach out, but many didn’t listen. Many did not understand and worst, she felt like everybody seemed to laugh at her all the time.

That didn’t stop her from aiming for a higher purpose. As a little girl, Chadleen dreamed of becoming a singer. She used her passion and talent to gain respect and uplift her self-image especially during moments when she felt down. She kept hoping that one day, a miracle will happen and her cleft palate will no longer be a hindrance to achieving her goals.

Her life changed when Operation Smile came to Cebu and helped her gain her beautiful smile we are now privileged to see. For Chadleen, it wasn’t just her renewed look that makes life better. The best thing that she considers after her miracle operation is her ability to sing and inspire those children all over the world who like her, were born with deformities and dream of a brighter future.

Her ultimate dream was realized when she became the champion of TV5’s Kanta Pilipinas, and ever since then, more and more opportunities have poured in for this very inspirational lady. In 2013, she won the grand prize in Kanta Pilipinas, a nationwide reality television talent search that had composer Ryan Cayabyab and singers Rico Blanco and Lani Misalucha as judges. Her winning piece was “Himala,” which she sang with so much raw emotion that the song’s composer Rico Blanco personally complimented her.

Young as Chadleen maybe, she has performed with Martin Nievera, Charice, Neon Trees (An American Rock Band) and David Pomeranz. And ever since then, more and more opportunities have poured in for this very inspirational lady. She has also performed in various events in New York, Los Angeles, Salt Lake Utah, Washington DC., Australia, China, Vietnam, and sang the Philippine National Anthem at the boxing match between our very own Bazooka AJ Banal and Rafael Concepcion of Panama.

She is now releasing her album, “Sana ikaw na nga” under 12 stone Records.

She sings for those who can’t, for those who dream, and for those who are praying for a miracle. With her amazing talent and relentless passion, Chadleen is sure to reach greater heights in the music industry. Let’s help her dream bigger and reach further.
