The Chainsmokers are The Top DJs in EDM

Last October 2015, The Chainsmokers released their 5-track EP entitled “Bouquet” and in less than a year, The Chainsmokers are already the number 1 DJs in EDM. They came out on top of Nielsen’s mid-year ratings. The Nielsen Media Research measures media audiences – from TV, radio, film, theater to newspapers. Nielsen’s basically rate the the level of consumerism in media. And The Chainsmokers came out on top on both album and singles charts.

“Bouquet” is the top album in the electronic/dance charts having sold more than 200,000 units and beating out the likes of David Guetta, Lady Gaga and Calvin Harris. They ruled the singles charts of the same category as well as “Don’t Let Me Down” featuring Daya took the peak position while “Roses” is the runner-up. Both singles combined have already sold almost 900,000 units.

And the great news for the Filipino fans is that the top DJs of EDM will have their first major arena show at the MOA Arena this August 18th, 2016. Tickets are still available at smtickets.com and all SM Tickets outlet nationwide.
