Popular English rock band Coldplay and U2 are set to conquer Manila in 2017.
According to an article by Wheninmanila.com, Coldplay and U2 are scheduled to set foot in the Philippines to have their first ever concerts.

Coldplay which was previously speculated to stage a concert in the Philippines in the later part of 2016 is now confirmed to have their show on the first months on 2017. According to the news report, Coldplay’s concert promoter has already booked SM Mall of Asia Arena for the venue.
Meanwhile, U2 is also set to touch the Philippine soil in 2017 but the venue and details of their concerts is still being ironed out.
