Fil-Aussie Cyrus Villanueva moved to the next stage of X-Factor Australia after entering the competition’s Top 5.
In X-Factor Australia’s Tuesday (November 3) episode, the Top 5 named were revealed which include Cyrus. Also voted to be in the Top 5 with Cyrus Villanueva were Big T, Louise Adams and Jess and Matt. Mahalia Simpson and Natalie Conway were the bottom 2, but judges chose Mahalia to move to the next round.

In the show’s Top 6 Live performances Monday November 2, Cyrus Villanueva sang Bob Dylan’s “Knocking on Heaven’s Door.” The song was chosen by X-Factor judge Guy Sebastian.
While his mentor Chris Isaak was worried about the song choice, Cyrus gave an impressive performance which resulted to a standing ovation from the 4 judges and the audience. James Blunt even said he was caught by the “Cyrus Virus.”
