K-pop rule over the Philippines is not over yet. In fact the world has yet to see another sensation from South Korea that even students look up to. Meet DEAB
Last August 6, singer DEAN came to visit the country for a show at the SM North EDSA SkyDome. He first made rounds in various radio stations days before his Saturday show.
DEAN started out as a songwriter/producer under the name Deanfluenza and have written songs for popular male groups EXO and VIXX, among others.
DEAN released his fist solo single “I’m Not Sorry” in the U.S. first in July of 2015. In October 2015, the follow-up single “Pour Up” was released in South Korea.
In March of this year, DEAN released his first EP entitled 130 Mood: TRBL. Owe to his EP release becaude this is wheb Filipino kpop fans swooned at the very charming DEAN, giving him the chance to come over to the country.
DEAN’s Manila concert this month had local female crooner Krissy as front-act, who got the crowd singing along with her tunes. This was quickly followed by a DJ set from Curse & Bless, one of the local acts who are at the forefront of EDM in the country. Curse & Bless likewise provided the beats and sound when DEAN started performing his songs. There was a jubilant uproar from the crowd after DEAN finally appeared on stage and boy, he did not disappoint.

After DEAN’s performance, a meet and greet was held backstage with a few lucky fans. Followed by autograph signing for the first 200 fans who lined up to buy a copy of his EP who lined up at the venue as early as 3am.
Such is the dedication of the rebels, as DEAN’s fandom is Surely, this won’t be the last we will be seeing this Korean charmer.
