Did Papa Jack resign from Love Radio?

“Papa Jack no show on his radio show”

Speculations are high that popular DJ, Papa Jack has resigned from his radio station Love Radio 90.7 after his voice wasn’t heard since yesterday on his radio program “Papa Jack on TLC.” The speculation grew more after he changed his profile picture on his official Facebook page into a plain red square.

Before changing the profile picture, Papa Jack also posted meaningful quotes with the latest saying “Take note, Real men do cry.”

Gigsmanila was able to get hold of a friend who knew an insider in that radio station and the insider said the famous DJ indeed resigned. According to the insider there are management issues on the radio station that resulted to some bad conflicts. There were also insinuations that this was a result following DJ Chico Loco’s resignation from YES FM last March 2, 2015.

Prior to Chico Loco, radio anchor Ruth Abao Espinosa also resigned from another MBC station DZRH which can now support the management issues there.

As of writing Papa Jack has yet to issue an official statement regarding his absence on his radio show. Gigsmanila will post an update on this story as we get hold of the confirmation about the matter.

Did Papa Jack really resign or he’s just taking a break?

Update: March 11, 2015

Former DZRH anchor Ruth Abao Espinosa confirmed the resignation of Papa Jack from Love Radio.

In a post on her Facebook page Tuesday afternoon, Pangga Ruth Abao wrote “NAG RESIGN NA SI PAPA JACK AND CHICO LOCO!!! CONFIRMED!!!”

Until now, Papa Jack has yet to confirm the story and or issue an official statement regarding his resignation.
