Dear Uge comedienne Divine and actor-singer RJ Agustin are set to fire up the concert stage with back-to-back musical extravaganzas starting this June at the newly-opened music hall La Madera Gastronomic Pub in Tomas Morato.
Gawad Musika awardee RJ Agustin comes back on the concert stage with “Music from My Heart” on June 18, 8pm. After a two-year hiatus from the music scene to focus on acting, film production, and brand endorsements, RJ is back to touch everyone’s hearts with moving vocal interpretations of popular ballads and well-loved classics. The musical show will also highlight the launch of RJ’s newest single “Pusong Bakal” written by Himig Handog winner, composer, and film director Joven Tan. The young balladeer was last seen on television playing Emilio Jacinto on GMA7’s Katipunan, and as an actor-producer for the internationally-acclaimed and award-winning indie film 1st Ko Si 3rd.
Comedienne Divine of GMA7’s Sunday comedy anthology Dear Uge treats audiences to a night of laughter and good music in “Divine Intervention” on July 2, 8pm. After filming box-office hit My Bebe Love (topbilled by Ai Ai de las Alas, Vic Sotto, Alden Richards, and Maine Mendoza), Divine ups the ante with soulful jazz music and funny antics on her first musical show. The comedienne is also currently completing a follow-up film project with the Comedy Queen.
