And The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 Top 4 has been chosen; Jason Dy of Team Sarah, Leah Patricio of Team Lea, Alisah Bonaobra of Team Apl and Rence Rapanot of Team Bamboo.
In the live semi-finals held Sunday February 22, 2015 at Resorts World Manila, Voice PH 2 final top 4 were named. Team Sarah will be represented by the Haranista Heartthrob Jason Dy who bested the Biritera Monique Lualhati. For Team Lea, Diva Belter Leah Patricio moved to the finals sending Timmy Pavino out of the competition. Team Apl’s Alisah Bonaobra meanwhile edges out RnB singer Daryl Ong. And folk singer Rence Rapanot beats Rita Martinez to represent Camp Kawayan in the finals.
During the live show, all 4 teams did battle duets to once again earn the votes of the public to be added to their public votes during the Saturday show. Jason and Monique did “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now”, Leah and Timmy “Locked Out of Heaven”, Alisah and Daryl “One Sweet Day” and Rence and Rita “Mahirap Magmahal ng Syota ng Iba.”
After the performances, Coaches scores were given and here’s how they voted:
Coach Sarah: 55% Jason, 45% Monique
Coach Lea: 55% Leah, 45% Timmy
Coach Apl: 55% Alisah, 45% Daryl
Coach Bamboo: 55% Rence, 45% Rita
In the end after getting the average of the public votes and the coaches scores, the top 4 were revealed which also coincides how the coaches voted.
Team Sarah: Jason Dy – 60.1%
Team Lea: Leah Patricio – 50.49%
Team Apl: Alisah Bonaobra – 50.7%
Team Bamboo: Rence Rapanot – 56.21%
