Noel Cabangon to stage benefit concert for Soxie Topacio

Renowned acoustic and folk singer Noel Cabangon is on the roll once again as he launch his album ‘Sa’Yo Lamang’ and an upcoming concert entitled Traffic Jam set to take center stage this month.

Cabangon’s latest record, co-produced by Universal Records and Jesuit Communications comprised of ten tracks – with three of them originally penned by the singer-songwriter. Noel shared that the album is his way of giving back.

Speaking of giving back, according to PETA President Cecilia Garrucho, during the press conference, the upcoming concert, on the other hand, will be staged first at the Music Museum on September 16, and at the PETA Theater on October 21. Proceeds will go to the benefit of theater veteran Soxie Topacio, who was diagnosed recently with lung cancer and is currently undergoing radiation treatment.

Ogie Alcasid, Aicelle Santos, Rico Blanco and other artists will be the guests for both shows. For tickets reservation, call Ticketworld (891-9999), Music Museum office (721-0635), or contact Yesh Burce (09778425525)
