Selena Gomez took the Revival Tour to Manila, Philippines which happened at the Mall of Asia Arena last July 31.
It was so cool and fun! The stage plan and lighting generation was great. Production design was straightforward, unobtrusive and inventive that it totally changed the look and vibe of the concert. And for the fans which are mostly teenagers, they can’t contain their excitement while taking photos of her.
There were no amazing onesies, revival sportsbra and shirts bearing a famous picture from her crusades, yet we saw a great deal of body-embracing leather and eccentric trimmed sweaters.
Selena sang many of her songs from the Revival album and a couple of throwback songs. The greatest would be the worship song “Transfiguration” by Hillsong Worship. That song was one of her most loved religious song which helped her get through some of her most clumsy, bizarre and disappointing times of her life. She dedicated the song to her late friend, Christina Grimmie.
Generally show was really great and all songs were beautifully sang and choreographed. Before leaving the stage, Selena showed her adoration for her Filipino supporters and gave them a sweet guarantee that she’ll be back.
