With the success of its first season which brought in new singing artists Lyca Gairanod and Darren Espanto, The Voice Kids is back for its second season this Saturday June 6, 2015.
Superstar coaches and performers Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo, and Lea Salonga will once again search for kiddie artists with big voices.
“What we’re really looking for are kids who can sing better than our Season 1’s Top 4. And I think we found them,” said coach Lea.
Meanwhile, The Voice Kids Season 1 winning Coach Sarah Geronimo, who mentored grand winner Lyca Gairanod, said, “It’s hard to find really unique voices. It’s where we come in as coaches to help them improve as artists.”
And for his part, Coach Bamboo shares that the kids voice is the defining thing. “Yes, voice is the defining thing. With kids, there’s a whole lot more involved. I have a good feeling this season I’ll find somebody special,” said coach Bamboo.
Like Season 1, each coach needs to have 18 kiddie artists for their teams by the end of the Blind Auditions. And from there the new grand winner will emerge.
Who will impress the coaches this time? What are the stories behind the voices of the first three- chair turners of the season?
