Filipino Australian Cyrus Villanueva once again showcased why he deserves to be in the finals.
In X-Factor Australia’s Finals performance night Monday, Cyrus gave his all to earn the title of X-Factor Australia 2015. His win will mark a back to back win for Fil-Aussies following Marlisa Punzalan’s victory last year.
Cyrus competes with 2 other finalists Jess and Matt, and Louise Adams for this year’s X-Factor Australia title.
In a tweet right after the Monday’s episode, Cyrus tweeted his gratefulness to all who have shown love and helped him get to this stage of the competition.

Cyrus Villanueva did three performances tonight, all of which earned praises and recognitions from the mentor judges.
For his first song, Cyrus once more performed his audition piece, The Weeknd’s “Earned It.” Guy Sebastian was all praise saying he “earned it” and he “deserved it,” while his mentor Chris Isaak said he has proven he got the X-Factor.
The second song was his Winner’s Song “Stone” which will be his debut single once he win the X-Factor Australia grand finals.
For the last song Cyrus performed his emotional version of Labrinth’s “Jealous.” His performance made his mentor Chris Isaak cry again.
