Christmas is celebrated in the whole world as a season of sharing and giving, whether it’s for your family, friends or strangers. Amazingly, these three ( 3 ) Foreigners came up with the idea of brightening someone’s day by sharing their God’s given talents.
GMA recording artist Jeff James from Hawaii with his foreigner friends Aisaku Yokogawa (Japan) and Eric Buzzbee (USA), agreed to give someone a loving experience before the year ends.
From his Youtube post, Jeff James shared the story how they found “Nanay”, a 90 year old homeless Lola in Pasig City.
“Christmas is near kaya naisip namin ng mga friends ko na magpasaya ng isang tao using our talent. It took us hours of walking hanggang sa nakita namin si “Nanay” na nakatinging sa malayo. She is almost 90 years old and wala siyang bahay, natutulog lang sa kalsada around Pasig City. Sabi niya she survived dahil marami naman daw nag-aabot ng pagkain sa kanya pero sana’y naman na daw siya sa gutom,” Jeff James said.
According to “Nanay” she went here in Manila few years ago to find a job, until she doesn’t remember how to get back to Bulacan anymore and became homeless.
“Sabi niya meron siya pamilya sa Bulacan pero umalis siya few years ago para maghanap sana ng trabaho [sana] sa Maynila,” he added.
In the video, the three foreigners impressively sing Tagalog songs which made the passersby stop and watch. The crowd gets emotional by the scene that they share some blessings to “Nanay.” One cannot deny the happiness in “Nanay’s” face that day.
Let’s continue helping “Nanay” by sharing this video so it can reach her family in Bulacan and know her whereabouts.
